Membership

By paying the membership fee of € 30,- you are a member of the ULV for the entire calendar year. The annual membership fee also includes legal protection insurance for labor law-related issues.

According to the current legal situation and administrative practice, ULV membership fees are tax deductible under the heading of contributions to professional associations in the case of income from non-independent work.

For members of the respective previous year, the membership fee must be paid by 31 March of the current year at the latest, otherwise the active membership and thus also the insurance coverage will expire. Renewed insurance coverage is only guaranteed after a three-month waiting period from the date of payment.

A numerous membership is of great importance both within the university as well as Austria-wide in university-political questions (e.g. participation in salary and collective agreement negotiations, statements on draft laws, press releases on current university-political developments, Austria-wide networking on relevant topics concerning the working conditions of the scientific staff).

Despite Austria-wide networking we are completely independent in our thinking and acting as ULV in Innsbruck!
