ULV (UniversitätsLehrerInnenVerband):
Universität, das ist Leistung durch Kooperation und Verantwortung durch Partizipation.

• Der ULV vertritt alle WissenschaftlerInnen und KünstlerInnen an den österreichischen Universitäten nach UG02!
• Der ULV fordert Partizipation des gesamten wissenschaftlichen und künstlerischen Universitätspersonals: Mitwirkung an einer Universität heißt Mitverantwortung und insbesondere auch Mitbestimmung!
• Der ULV meint: Alle Universitätsangehörigen sind Universität. Dazu braucht es eine einheitliche Faculty statt Kurien und Kooperation statt ressourcenfressender inneruniversitärer Konkurrenz!

ULV (UniversitätsLehrerInnenVerband):
University, that is performance through cooperation and responsibility through participation.

• The ULV represents all scientists and artists at Austrian universities according to UG02!
• The ULV demands the participation of all academic and artistic university staff: participation in a university means shared responsibility and, in particular, co-determination!
• The ULV believes that all university members are universities. This requires a unified faculty instead of curiae and cooperation instead of resource-consuming intra-university competition!
• The ULV is fully committed to equal treatment and responsibly represents the interests of its colleagues!
• The ULV is convinced of functional universities with social responsibility!
• The ULV stands for a modern, performance-oriented but also family-friendly university!

Was bedeutet "UG" im Listennamen?
UG steht im Listennamen für U-GÖD = Unabhängige GewerkschafterInnen im öffentlichen Dienst. Die U-GÖD bzw. UG ist parteiunabhängig (die anderen sind jeweils einer politischen Partei wie der SPÖ, ÖVP etc. zugeordnet).
Der ULV arbeitet seit vielen Jahren mit der UG zusammen. Die Kooperation findet insbesondere bei Personalvertretungswahlen (Wahlen zum Betriebsrat (BR), Wahlen zum Zentralausschuss (ZA) Wissenschaft) und im Bereich der Interessenvertretung in der GÖD-BV13 statt. Mandate, die bei solchen Wahlen durch ULV-UG-Listen an den einzelnen Universitäten erzielt werden, haben Einfluss auf die künftige Mandatszahl für nächste Wahlen des ZA  und der BL13 (Universitätsgewerkschft. Das bedeutet für unsere Universität (auch basierend auf dem Wahlerfolg unserer ULV-UG-Liste im Jahr 2021) österreichweite Vernetzung über Personalvertretungsfunktionen (Vertretung für alle 22 öffentlichen Universitäten) erzielt werden können. Eine Vertretung in relevanten österreichweiten Personalvertretungsfunktionen zu haben ist für jede Universität zentral (Konnex Sozialpartnerschaft). Ulrike Hugl vertritt die Universität Innsbruck im ZA (stellv. Vorsitzende) sowie seit vielen Jahren in der BL13 (aktuell Wahlen am 07./08.05. - Hugl ist als Mitglied wieder aufgestellt. Zudem vertritt Monika Niedermayr unsere Universität zusätzlich in der erweiterten BL13.

What does “UG” mean in the list name?
In the list name, “UG” stands for U-GÖD = Independent Trade Unionists in the Public Sector. The U-GÖD or UG, is is not affiliated with any political party (all others are each affiliated with a political party).
The ULV has been collaborating with the UG for many years. This cooperation takes place particularly in staff representative elections (elections to the Works Council (BR), elections to the Central Committee (ZA) for Science in Austria) and in the area of interest representation within the GÖD-BV13 (representing all Austrian universities On the staff representation side and "consulting" the so-called "GÖD-Spitze"). Seats won in such elections by ULV-UG lists at individual universities (or ZA nationalwide) influence the future number of seats for the (the list-building for) next elections of the ZA and the BL13 (University Union). For our university (also based on the electoral success of our ULV-UG list/work council election in 2021), this means that Austria-wide networking through staff representation functions (for all 22 public universities) can be achieved. Having representation in relevant Austria-wide staff representation functions is crucial for every university (connex: social partnership). Currently, Ulrike Hugl represents the University of Innsbruck on the ZA as Vice Chair and has also represented it for many years on the BL13 (current elections on May 7–8—Hugl is running for re-election as a member). In addition, Monika Niedermayr represents our university on the so-called expanded BL13.
