Unfortunately, the current university statutes do not allow absentee voting. However, the university grants travel reimbursements for all voters from outside Innsbruck. You may apply for a business trip (form: https://www.uibk.ac.at/personalabteilung/intranet/formulare/reisekostenersatz-im-rahmen-einer-freistellung-dienstgang-neu.pdf). Please indicate "Senate election" as the reason for the trip and as “Kostenstelle” indicate your department/organizational unit’s number, submit the form to the Human Resources Department and send a copy (for the purpose of reimbursing the costs to your organizational unit) to the Senate office (see https://www.uibk.ac.at/senat/organisation-des-senat.html/buero-des-senatsvorsitzenden.html).
